Chambersburg Swears In Officers Farris, Horst and Wenger
Three cadets who joined last December completed MPOETC training and were sworn in as Chambersburg police officers; they begin field training.
The Chambersburg Police Department introduced its three newest officers — Farris, Horst and Wenger — who were sworn in this morning by Mayor Hock. The trio were welcomed as police cadets last December after a unanimous Borough Council vote, completed required training from January through June 2026, and passed the Municipal Police Officers' Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) certification exam to earn ACT 120. They now begin Field Training with experienced officers.
