The Renovo Police Department arrested 58-year-old Chester A. Skeba, a Renovo resident originally from Philadelphia, after an incident on the morning of July 21, 2026, in which he threatened a woman and later assaulted her during an argument, causing a head injury. The victim was treated at a local hospital. Skeba was charged with terroristic threats (2706(A)(1)) and simple assault (2701(A)(1)); MDJ Frank Mills set bail at $15,000, which Skeba could not post, and he was committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
