Chris Parsons Named New Hampshire Law Enforcement Torch Run Director
Hillsboro Police Chief Chris Parsons will lead New Hampshire’s Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics after more than 15 years of involvement with the program.
Chris Parsons, chief of the Hillsboro Police Department since 2022, was appointed on October 18, 2026 by the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police as the state’s Law Enforcement Torch Run Director for Special Olympics New Hampshire, succeeding longtime director Brian Levesque upon his retirement. Parsons brings more than 15 years of involvement with Special Olympics NH — including serving as a Law Enforcement Dipper and Mega Dipper, leading the Hillsboro-to-Concord leg of the Torch Run, volunteering at events and presenting athlete awards — to his new leadership role.
