Christopher James Colts arrested on possession of marijuana
Officer used a Taser after the man tried to conceal his identity; a small baggie of marijuana was found during a pat-down and he was held on $500 bail.
On July 18, 2026 at approximately 8:27 a.m., a City of Bradford officer encountered Christopher James Colts (listed as 37) sleeping under the Forman St. overpass while attempting to conceal his face with a red bag. When the bag was removed the officer recognized him, advised him of an outstanding warrant and, after the subject failed to comply with commands, deployed a Taser 7 to take him into custody; a pat-down at the police department revealed a small baggie of marijuana in his front left jean pocket. Colts was handcuffed, transported and held in a cell; the report lists Judge Luther and a $500 hold. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
