Classic Shandy
A quick, two-ingredient beer cocktail you can tailor with lemonade, ginger ale or ginger beer.
A simple two-ingredient drink with beer as a base, the shandy offers the drinker a choice of mixers: lemonade, ginger ale or ginger beer. Lemonade leans the drink sweeter and brighter, while ginger ale or ginger beer lends spice and a bit of heat to the final shandy. Whatever you choose, make sure both mixer and beer are nicely chilled before combining. If you're looking to keep the chill going for even longer, pop the empty glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes and up to an hour before pouring.
