County: Data center substation construction began without approval
Union County commissioners say work on a substation for a proposed data center campus in Allenwood started before approval was granted.
ALLENWOOD — Construction of an electrical substation by the developer of a proposed data center campus in a Union County business park was started without a necessary approval, the county commissioners say.
Work already had started when the commissioners on Oct. 6 denied the request by PNK Group for approval for the substation.
