Craig Whitmer arrested in Bradford for alleged Protection From Abuse order violation
Police say Craig Whitmer called a protected person at her workplace, threatened to kill her and was later remanded to McKean County Jail on an alleged PFA violation.
On 8/15/2026 the victim reported to City of Bradford Police that Craig Whitmer called her workplace at Tops Market (150 Davis St.), allegedly yelled about her living arrangements and threatened to kill her before hanging up. Records show Whitmer was served a Temporary PFA on July 27, 2026, failed to appear at the hearing, and a Final Order issued July 31; multiple attempts to serve him since the Final Order were unsuccessful. He was charged Aug. 18, 2026 with TITLE 23 §6114(a) — indirect criminal contempt for violation of a Protection From Abuse order and was remanded to the McKean County Jail; all persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
