Unknown person(s) accessed a Yardley resident’s bank account, obtained a replacement debit card and made about $40,000 in charges in the Las Vegas area; investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 8:26 a.m., Lower Makefield Township police were notified that unknown person(s) gained access to a bank account at a home on the 200 block of Polk Way in Yardley. A replacement debit card was obtained and approximately $40,000 in charges were made in the Las Vegas area. The case is under investigation.
