Curtis Todd Williams arrested after alleged 100+ mph pursuit in Manheim Township
The US Marshals Service and Pennsylvania State Police SERT arrested a 42-year-old man July 10 after an alleged high-speed attempt to evade police in Manheim Township; he was remanded to Mifflin County Prison after a July 22 video arraignment.
Curtis Todd Williams, 42, of Kirkwood, PA, was arrested July 10 by the U.S. Marshals Service and Pennsylvania State Police SERT on a warrant issued June 22 charging him with fleeing and eluding a police officer and multiple other offenses. Authorities say an officer saw a vehicle associated with Williams on the 100 block of Manheim Ave, observed Williams driving the wrong way onto N. Prince St., and that he accelerated to speeds in excess of 100 mph while evading lights and siren; officers later stopped their pursuit. Williams was remanded to Mifflin County Prison, video arraigned July 22 before Magisterial District Judge Courtney Monson, and had bail set at $15,000 which he could not post.
