DA: Officers justified in shooting of Lower Saucon gunman
Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta said officers were justified in using deadly force after a heavily armed man fired at police and struck multiple vehicles.
A heavily armed man expressing suicidal thoughts fired numerous rounds at police, striking multiple vehicles during an incident last month where he also threatened law enforcement before he was shot and killed, according to Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta.
