Ephrata Police charged 20-year-old Daiza Monserrate Caban of Reinholds with Retail Theft (M1) after Walmart loss prevention reported she allegedly took merchandise displayed for sale on several occasions between August 2 and August 25, 2026, valued at $368.02. Officers responded to the Walmart at 890 E. Main Street on September 4, 2026; charges were filed through MDJ Landis' office on September 8, 2026. Caban is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
