Daiza Monserrate Caban Charged in Ephrata Walmart Shoplifting
Ephrata police say 20-year-old Reinholds resident Daiza Caban allegedly removed $368.02 in merchandise from the Walmart on E. Main Street during multiple incidents in August; charges were filed Sept. 8, 2026.
Ephrata Police charged 20-year-old Daiza Monserrate Caban of Reinholds with misdemeanor retail theft after Walmart loss prevention reported she stole merchandise displayed for sale on several occasions between Aug. 2 and Aug. 25, 2026, totaling $368.02. Officers responded to Walmart at 890 E. Main Street on Sept. 4 at 4:57 p.m., and charges were filed Sept. 8 through MDJ Landis' office. Caban is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
