Daniel A. Eck, 79, of Durham Township, Dies
Longtime small-engine mechanic and outdoorsman Dan Eck died Sept. 11, 2026; services are private and memorial contributions are requested to Tails of Valor, Paws of Honor.

Daniel A. Eck, 79, of Durham Township, Bucks County, passed away peacefully on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. He was the devoted husband of Doris J. (Rush) Eck, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Born in Easton, Pa., on Nov. 11, 1946, Dan was the son of the late Thomas and Pauline (Strohl) Eck. He dedicated many years of his professional life to small engine repairs, specializing in golf carts at Golf Carts Inc. in Doylestown. An avid outdoorsman and enthusiast of classic craftsmanship, Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring antique cars. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and loved ones.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his wife Doris, Dan is survived by his children: Denise M. Eck of Raubsville and Allen Eck and his wife Rosa Franco of Center Valley; sister: Dolores Haley and her husband Rocky of Saylorsburg; step-grandchildren: Benjamin, Anthony and Aiden; as well as extended family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his siblings, Kenneth Eck and Sallie Mulligan.
SERVICES
