Daniel Crum, 55, Arrested After Traffic Stop in Montour Township
A traffic stop in Montour Township revealed an open alcoholic container, a THC vape and additional drug paraphernalia; the driver also had an expired license and outstanding burglary-related warrants.
On July 1, 2026, at approximately 1524 hours Chief Savidge stopped a silver Ford sedan at 587 Valley Road for expired registration and observed an open alcoholic container, a THC vape in plain view and the odor of marijuana. After consenting to a vehicle search, officers located additional drug use items and arrested driver Daniel Crum, 55, on charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle, restrictions on alcoholic beverages and outstanding burglary-related warrants; he was transported to Columbia County Prison.
