David A. Rausch Jr. Arrested on Theft-by-Extortion Charge

Berwick Police investigated a complaint that David A. Rausch Jr., 32, made violent threats against a former employee and the employee’s family and demanded payment for business he said he lost after the worker began operating independently. The investigation led to Rausch’s arrest on a theft-by-extortion charge; he is described as a 32-year-old white male, 5'9", 175 lbs, with blue eyes and brown hair. All persons are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
