On May 12, 2026, Spring Township Police were contacted by Diamond Credit Union about an attempted fraudulent deposit. Following an investigation, 51-year-old David Dar was arrested May 21, 2026 and charged with Access Device Fraud (18-4106 A1IV, F3), Theft of Mail (18-3936 A, F3), Forgery (18-4101 A2, F2), Simulating Objects of Antiquity/Rarity (18-4102, M1) and Identity Theft (18-4120 A, F3). He was processed at the Spring Township Police Department, 1500 Ethan Drive in Wyomissing; bail was listed as $0.
