North Charleston police say officers stopped a 44-year-old man riding an e-bike for traffic violations in the Chicora-Cherokee area shortly before 5 p.m. During the stop, the rider—identified as David Deon Carter—told officers he had about an ounce of marijuana; a probable-cause search allegedly uncovered 46.6 grams of suspected marijuana in a Tupperware container in his front left pocket that field-tested presumptive positive. Carter was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center.
