David Rios charged with felony retail theft in Lititz
Police say a Lancaster man consumed an unpaid alcoholic beverage at a Lititz Giant and is accused of taking more than 600 beverages between December 2025 and October 2026.
On October 13, 2026, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police responded to the Giant Grocery Store at 1008 Lititz Pike in Warwick Township after an employee, identified as 61-year-old Lancaster resident David Rios, reportedly took possession of and consumed an unpaid alcoholic beverage. During the investigation officers say Rios allegedly took more than 600 beverages between December 2025 and October 2026; he was charged with one felony count of retail theft and the charges were filed before MDJ Stauffer.
