The death toll from catastrophic flooding along the Nepal-Tibet border climbed to nearly 800 on Sunday as rescue crews pressed ahead with efforts to reach more than 100 workers believed to be trapped inside hydropower tunnels buried by mud, debris and floodwaters. Authorities in Nepal and China said thousands of people remain missing days after a glacier collapse unleashed a destructive wall of water through Himalayan river valleys, The Guardian reported.
