Seventeen-year-old Baby’s Catskills vacation becomes a transformative summer of dance and romance.
In the summer of 1963, innocent 17-year-old Baby (Jennifer Grey) vacations with her parents at a Catskills resort and is drawn to stirring music in the staff quarters. There she meets Johnny (Patrick Swayze), the hotel dance instructor, and soon becomes his pupil in both dance and love.
