Douglas Eugene Goodwin arrested for defiant trespass in Old Lycoming Township

On July 4, 2026, Lycoming Regional Police arrested 35-year-old Douglas Eugene Goodwin for defiant trespassing at a residence in Old Lycoming Township after officers had told him on July 2 he was trespassed from the property. Police say Goodwin sat at an outdoor table for about 40 minutes, left, then returned—opening the yard gate and fleeing when the victim’s dogs barked; he was taken into custody and lodged in Lycoming County Prison on a probation detainer. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
