The Doylestown Township Police Department is creating an eligibility list and accepting applications (application, resume, cover letter) through the PoliceApp until Friday, August 28, 2026. Candidates must be U.S. citizens age 21 or older, hold a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED, and be ACT 120 certified or enrolled in a police academy; the selection process includes phone and panel interviews, background, medical, drug, psychological and polygraph examinations. The department — consisting of twenty (23) full-time sworn officers and three civilian employees — offers a competitive salary (top patrol officer pay $126,871.54 in 2026; less than one year at 65% of top pay), comprehensive benefits, pension/DROP options, and tuition and training incentives; questions may be directed to Lt.
