Candidates must be U.S. citizens age 21 or older, hold a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED, and be ACT 120 certified or enrolled in a police academy; the selection process includes phone and panel interviews, background, medical, drug, psychological and polygraph examinations.
