Driver Arrested on Felony Warrant After Traffic Stop in Montour Township
Officers stopped a vehicle on Rupert Drive, arrested the driver on an outstanding felony warrant and transported them for a blood test after suspected drug impairment.
On Thursday, August 27, 2026, Montour Township officers conducting traffic enforcement on the 100 block of Rupert Drive observed traffic violations and identified the driver as having an active felony warrant. Officer Jordan conducted the traffic stop and took the driver into custody; the individual was believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was transported for a blood test before being transferred to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office. Further charges are pending.
