Driver Arrested on Outstanding Drug DUI Warrant in Catawissa
A routine plate check during traffic enforcement led to the identification and arrest of a man wanted on a drug DUI warrant.
On July 6, 2026, at about 4:38 p.m., Officer Hernandez, conducting traffic enforcement at the Catawissa Boat Club entrance, ran a license plate check on a passing vehicle and discovered outstanding warrants. He followed the vehicle into Catawissa, identified the driver as the wanted person, confirmed the drug DUI warrant, and took the man into custody; the suspect was lodged at Columbia County Prison. The Montour Township Police Department reported the arrest.
