Driver charged with drug paraphernalia after Tannersville stop
Pocono Township officers seized a glass stem and observed a BB gun during a traffic stop on Camelback Road; the driver was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a DUI-suspended license.
On May 1, 2026 at about 9:05 p.m., Pocono Township Police conducting a narcotics investigation observed 35-year-old Jason LaBar operating a vehicle while his license was suspended for a DUI. Officers stopped LaBar on Camelback Road in Tannersville; they observed a BB gun under his lap and a glass stem associated with narcotics in his front pocket. A search yielded the contraband and LaBar was charged with (1 COUNT) 780-113(A)(32) possession of drug paraphernalia (M) and driving while DUI suspended (case 2026-00004452).
