Dylan M. Harris, 29, arrested in Palmer Township on firearms charges and outstanding assault warrant
Palmer Township officers stopped a vehicle July 18 after identifying a man with an outstanding warrant and found a handgun and shotgun in his possession.
On July 18, 2026 at about 11:50 a.m., a Palmer Township patrol officer conducting business checks on S. 25th Street observed a man with an active warrant for simple assault and harassment. The man, identified as Dylan M. Harris, 29, was stopped, taken into custody without incident and found to be in possession of a handgun and a shotgun. Harris was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice McClure on weapons charges (18) 6105(A)(1) and (18) 6106(A)(1) and the assault warrant; he was committed to Northampton County Prison on $35,000 straight bail for the gun possession and $20,000 unsecured for the simple assault.
