On August 27, 2026, at approximately 1556 hours, officers conducting traffic enforcement on Rupert Drive stopped a black Honda Civic at Hock Road and identified the driver as 23-year-old Dylan Travis Ray, who had an outstanding Columbia County warrant and a suspended license. Ray was taken into custody, transported to the Scott Township Police Department, and evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert after admitting he smoked marijuana about an hour before the stop; the evaluation found signs consistent with marijuana impairment and Ray refused blood draws twice. He faces charges including DUI: controlled substances, driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked, driving without a license, and sun screening and other materials prohibited.
