Early signs of fall foliage to check in Lehigh Valley
Goldenrod's yellow blossoms have been visible for weeks and are now widespread as the season shifts to autumn.
In less than a week the season will change from summer to autumn, the time period from the autumnal equinox at the end of September through the winter solstice at the end of December. But most people call this season between summer and winter fall, which goes back centuries to when it was referred as the time of “the fall of the leaf.”
