Between July 1–8, 2026, East Hempfield officers investigated multiple retail thefts at Turkey Hill tied to Ryan Andrew Whittaker (38) of Mountville—three packs of cigarettes valued at $39.15 on 7/2 and two packs valued at $25.99 on 7/3—and later charged him with Retail Theft (M2) and an Arrest for Violation of Order (M) after being located at Sheetz and transported to Lancaster County Prison. Other incidents include a vandalism report (red paint spelling “Jamie,” $150 damage), Christopher Reindollar (61) charged with two counts of DUI (M), a burglary at Qualfon in which Jonathan M. Kline (44) was charged with Burglary (F1), Theft (F2) and Criminal Trespass (F3) for jewelry over $2,000 (Kline was located in Harrisburg and held for extradition), Francisco Zaya Santiago-Correa (34) charged with Forgery (F2) and Access Device is Counterfeit/Altered (F3) for attempting to cash a forged $2,475 check, a PFA violation charge against Douglas A. Desmond (58), and a reported Lowe’s theft of a GE window air conditioner valued at $169.
