East Hempfield Township police investigated several incidents from July 1–8, 2026, including multiple retail thefts at Turkey Hill attributed to Ryan Andrew Whittaker, a vandalism report with red paint spelling "Jamie" ($150 damage), and a report of a stolen GE window air conditioner from Lowe’s ($169). Officers charged Jonathan M. Kline with a warehouse burglary and related thefts (items valued over $2,000) and located him in Harrisburg; Christopher Reindollar faces two counts of DUI; Francisco Zaya Santiago‑Correa is wanted on forgery charges after an alleged attempt to cash a forged $2,475 check; Douglas A. Desmond was charged with violating a protection order. All persons charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
