East Lansdowne Police Department Becomes All Full-Time Career Agency
The department added three full-time officers and will bring a fourth back to full-time service after his recovery, bringing its career staff to eight.
Chief James Cadden announced the East Lansdowne Police Department has transitioned to an all full-time, career law-enforcement agency with the addition of Officers William Schailey, Bhavin Patel and Alexia Williams; Officer Owen Cosgrove will join the full-time ranks once he recovers from a line-of-duty injury. Cadden said the move to eight career officers will strengthen patrol coverage, continuity of service, training and community-policing, and thanked elected officials for their support.
