East Lansdowne Police Department transitions to all full‑time force
Adds four full‑time officers, bringing the department to eight career officers and marking a shift to an all full‑time force.
The East Lansdowne Police Department announced it has transitioned to an all full‑time, career law‑enforcement agency with the addition of four full‑time officers, bringing the agency to eight career officers. Officers William Schailey, Bhavin Patel and Alexia Williams have assumed full‑time roles, and Officer Owen Cosgrove will join the full‑time ranks upon recovery from a line‑of‑duty injury; the department says the change will improve patrol coverage, continuity, training, accreditation and community‑policing efforts.
