Ephrata man charged with DUI after Lititz traffic stop
An Ephrata man was charged after a late-night traffic stop in Lititz found his license and plate suspended and a breath test showing a BAC above the legal limit.
On September 6, 2026 at about 2:19 a.m., Lititz Borough police stopped a vehicle whose plate showed as suspended. The driver, identified as 33-year-old Justin J. Conway of Ephrata, had watery, bloodshot eyes and admitted to drinking at a bar; a preliminary breath test read 0.120% and a subsequent chemical breath test at the police station read 0.124% BAC. Conway was summonsed for a preliminary hearing on counts including DUI — general impairment and high rate, vehicle registration suspended, and driving with privilege suspended; he is presumed innocent.
