Ephrata man charged with possession of meth after arrest on aggravated assault warrant
Officers found a baggie of methamphetamine during a search after taking 42-year-old Joshua Boyer into custody on an aggravated assault warrant.
The Ephrata Police Department filed an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine) against Joshua Selig Boyer, 42, of Ephrata after officers located him in the parking lot at 423 N. Reading Road on July 22, 2026. Boyer was arrested on an outstanding aggravated assault warrant; a baggie with methamphetamine was found in his belongings and a criminal complaint was filed July 23. He remains incarcerated at Lancaster County Prison on $150,000 cash bail and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
