Ephrata man charged with two DUIs after 0.197% BAC in Warwick Township stop
Police stopped a vehicle on Rothsville Road and say the driver registered a 0.197% blood-alcohol level.
On August 22, 2026 at about 9:41 p.m., Northern Lancaster County Regional Police conducting a traffic detail on the 2300 block of Rothsville Road in Warwick Township stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation. The driver, identified as 31-year-old Nathan Daniel McGinnis of Ephrata, was investigated for suspected impairment; a breath test produced a 0.197% BAC. McGinnis was charged with two counts of DUI — 75-3802(A1) (general impairment) and 75-3802(C) (highest rate) — and the charges are before MDJ Stauffer.
