Ephrata man charged with two DUIs after 0.197% BAC in Warwick Township stop
Driver stopped for a vehicle code violation on Rothsville Road tested at 0.197% BAC and was charged with two counts of DUI.
On August 22, 2026, Northern Lancaster County Regional Police officers conducting a traffic detail in the 2300 block of Rothsville Road, Warwick Township, stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation and identified the driver as 31-year-old Nathan Daniel McGinnis of Ephrata. Officers suspected impairment and a breath sample returned a 0.197% BAC; McGinnis was charged with two counts of DUI (75-3802 (A1) general impairment and 75-3802 (C) highest rate).
