Ephrata woman Anna Amanda Smith charged with Simple Assault and Harassment
Ephrata police say Smith assaulted a woman who was photographing her vehicle, causing abrasions and a torn fingernail, and violated a previously served no-trespass/no-contact letter.
The Ephrata Police Department charged 39-year-old Anna Amanda Smith of Ephrata with Simple Assault (M2) and Harassment (S) after an incident on Monday, September 28, 20026 at 3:21 p.m. Officers say the victim was assaulted while taking photos of Smith’s vehicle, sustaining abrasions to her face and chest and a partially torn fingernail, and that Smith violated a previously served no trespass/no contact letter. Charges were filed through MDJ Landis’ office on 10/05/2026; Smith is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
