Eugene Williams Elam arrested after suspended-license DUI-related stop in East Earl Township
Leola man charged with driving while license suspended (DUI-related) surrendered to authorities and was held after failing to post $3,000 bail.
A warrant was issued for 50-year-old Eugene Williams Elam of Leola following a June 29, 2026 traffic stop in the 1300 block of Main Street, East Earl Township, for Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked (DUI-related). Elam surrendered on July 6, 2026 to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office, was arraigned by MDJ Torrey Landis, and held on $3,000 bail he could not post; he was committed to Lancaster County Prison pending further proceedings. The warrant was issued by Judge Heisse; Elam is presumed innocent.
