Fatal motorcycle-tractor trailer crash under investigation in Lower Swatara Township
One person was killed in an early-morning collision on North Union Street; authorities are investigating.
On July 25, 2026 at about 4:35 a.m., Lower Swatara Township Police responded to the 2000 block of North Union Street for a crash involving a motorcycle and a tractor trailer. The motorcycle operator was declared deceased at the scene; the tractor-trailer operator was not injured. Multiple local agencies and the Dauphin County Accident Reconstruction Team are assisting in an ongoing investigation; police ask witnesses or anyone with information to call 717-558-6900.
