District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg‑Shaffer says Lashawn WHITE, who left a non‑secured satellite camp at FCI‑McKean on October 29, was apprehended the morning of October 30 after two men working in a wooded area off Route 321 identified and detained him. Pennsylvania State Police took WHITE into custody without incident; he is accused of breaking the glass of an excavator at the men’s job site and has been charged by Corporal Joshua BAUER with Escape (Felony 3), Flight to Avoid Apprehension (Felony 3), and Criminal Mischief (Misdemeanor 2). WHITE was returned to federal custody and is scheduled for central court on the new charges.
