Fernando Acevedo arrested on strangulation, assault and harassment charges
Hanover Township police arrested Fernando Acevedo following an incident at the Dundee Apartments; he was arraigned and held at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
The Hanover Township Police Department arrested 37-year-old Fernando Acevedo on charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment after an incident at the Dundee Apartment Complex on July 28, 2026. Acevedo was taken to police headquarters for processing, arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Kyle Halesey who set bail at 10% of $15,000, and transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
