Five charged in Johnstown fatal shooting; one suspect at large

Cambria County District Attorney Jessica F. Aurandt says Johnstown police filed charges this week against Dakarai Tisinger, Deshawn Lieb, Mehki Hartfield, Dashawn McCoy and Kennith Jordan for the April 26, 2026 fatal shooting of David Simms in the 600 block of Park Avenue in Moxham. Authorities allege the group donned masks, converged on the residence with firearms and executed Simms; Lakeisha Gilpatrick was charged separately with tampering with physical evidence, theft by unlawful taking and abuse of a corpse for allegedly removing evidence from the body and scene. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
