Flash flood warning for Lycoming and Sullivan counties until 11:15 p.m.
National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning Saturday at 8:10 p.m.; heavy rain has produced 0.5–1.5 inches with up to 1 additional inch possible.
On Saturday at 8:10 p.m. the National Weather Service released a flash flood warning in effect until 11:15 p.m. for Lycoming and Sullivan counties.
"At 8:10 p.m., Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly," says the weather service. "Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas."
