District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that a former Bradford Area School District bus driver, WILLIAMS, was sentenced Aug. 27, 2026 to at least 11 years and 4 months to 22 years and 8 months in state prison plus three years of consecutive supervision after pleading guilty to involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, tampering with evidence, sexual abuse of children (child pornography — six images), corruption of minors, unlawful contact with a minor and endangering the welfare of children. City of Bradford police found he had photographed young girls on his bus in provocative poses and photographed a visiting foster child with the camera focused on the child’s genital area; investigators also say he committed a sex act against a foster child and removed the bus camera to hinder the probe. A court later determined he meets Pennsylvania’s definition of a sexually violent predator, which requires lifetime registration as a sex offender; authorities urge anyone who suspects abuse to call 911, Childline at 1-800-932-0313, or YWCA of Bradford victim services at 1-888-821-6325.
