Former Bradford bus driver sentenced to state prison for crimes against children
A former Bradford Area School District bus driver was sentenced after pleading guilty to multiple crimes involving children, including photographing students and sexually abusing a foster child.
District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer reports that on August 27, 2026 a former Bradford Area School District bus driver, identified as WILLIAMS, was sentenced to a state prison term of at least 11 years 4 months to 22 years 8 months plus three years of consecutive supervision after pleading guilty to multiple offenses. Investigators found he photographed young girls on his school bus in provocative poses, photographed a visiting child with the camera focused on her genital area, and committed a sex act against a foster child in his home; he also pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence and other related charges. A court later found WILLIAMS met Pennsylvania’s definition of a sexually violent predator, requiring lifetime sex-offender registration; the DA’s office urged the public to report suspected child abuse and provided ChildLine and victim services numbers.
