Former Bristol Special Education Teacher Convicted of Harassing 7-Year-Old Student with Autism
A Magisterial District Judge found the former special education teacher guilty of harassment for a December 2025 classroom incident at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School.
Following a trial yesterday, Magisterial District Judge Terrance Hughes found 26-year-old Stephanie Kleinfelder of Levittown guilty of a summary charge of harassment involving physical contact for an incident in December 2025 at Snyder-Girotti Elementary School. Testimony indicated Kleinfelder grabbed the 7-year-old student’s wrist, forced his hand to strike his own face twice while yelling “How do you like that?”, and two classroom aides said her actions violated crisis prevention and de-escalation protocol. She was ordered to pay a $150 fine, had been placed on administrative leave after the incident, was charged by summons in February, and resigned in March; the case was prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney and Safe Schools Advocate David O’Beirne.
