Former Butler County farm proposed as large data and energy campus
Developers want to convert a former Butler County farm into a large energy and data campus; a public planning meeting was moved to Oct. 1 because of space limits.
A data center has been proposed to the planning commission in Forward Township, Butler County, adding to the growing list of similar Pennsylvania proposals.
The township was to hold a meeting Thursday to discuss the proposed center, but had to reschedule it to Oct. 1, it said on Facebook, because of “capacity” issues at the municipal building. The meeting will be held at the Forward Township Maintenance Building beginning at 7 p.m.
