Former overdose recovery specialist Samantha Pack sentenced to state prison in fatal drug delivery
Samantha Pack pleaded guilty to six charges, including Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, after Ronald Martin died of a mixed-drug overdose; she was sentenced June 30, 2026 to six to twelve years in a state correctional facility followed by three years of probation.
Samantha Pack pleaded guilty on April 30, 2026 to six charges tied to the December 27, 2024 death of Ronald Martin in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County. Police say Pack obtained Metonitazene, Xylazine, Fentanyl and other drugs from Harrisburg, delivered them to Martin, watched him consume part of the drugs, then left him and took his cell phone; witnesses later told her to get Narcan or call for help but she did not. On June 30, 2026 she was sentenced to six to twelve years in state prison and three years of consecutive probation; an autopsy listed Metonitazene, Protonitazene, Xylazine and Doxylamine toxicity as the cause of death.
