Samantha Pack pleaded guilty on April 30, 2026, to six charges including Drug Delivery Resulting in Death and was sentenced June 30, 2026, to six to twelve years in a state correctional facility followed by three years of probation. Police say Pack delivered Metonitazene, xylazine, fentanyl and other drugs to Ronald Martin on Dec. 27, 2024, watched him begin to overdose, took his phone and left without rendering aid despite her prior training as an overdose recovery specialist; an autopsy listed Metonitazene, Protonitazene, Xylazine and Doxylamine toxicity as the cause of death. The Cumberland County District Attorney credited prosecutors and investigators for their work in securing the conviction.
