Four New Recruits Sworn In to New Castle Police Department
Four recruits — Mario Bernardi, Daylyn Glenel, Tanner Kennedy and David Occhibone — were sworn in and will begin a six-month training program at the Allegheny County Police Academy on July 7.
At tonight's council meeting, Mario Bernardi, Daylyn Glenel, Tanner Kennedy and David Occhibone took the oath of office as new police officer recruits for the New Castle Police Department. They will begin a comprehensive six-month training program at the Allegheny County Police Academy on July 7, graduate in December and then complete field training with NCPD. The department welcomed the new members as they start their law enforcement careers.
